Introduction
Xiuqiang Li, a Tenured Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, has been selected for the National High-Level Young Talents Program and recognized as a Jiangsu Province TP Professor and Changkong Distinguished Scholar at the university. He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science from Nanjing University. Following his doctoral studies, he conducted postdoctoral research at Duke University (USA), the Technical University of Dresden (Germany), and the Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics (Germany). To date, he has published over 50 academic papers, which have garnered more than 10,000 citations. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published significant research findings in several internationally renowned journals, including Nature Water, Joule (3 papers), PNAS, Science Advances (2 papers), Advanced Materials (3 papers), and Nature Communications. He has applied for more than ten invention patents, with two granted national invention patents and one international PCT patent. He has been invited by the editors-in-chief of five journals, including ACS Energy Letters and Advanced Science, to contribute long review articles. Currently, he serves as a member of the International Advisory Committee for the Wiley journal Global Challenges and as a reviewer for over 30 international academic journals, including those in the Nature series. Additionally, he has been invited to serve as an evaluation expert for multiple talent programs and research projects under the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.
