Introduction
Xiuqiang Li, a Tenured Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, has been selected for the National High-Level Talents Program and recognized as a Jiangsu Province TP Professor and Changkong Distinguished Scholar at the university. He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science from Nanjing University and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at Duke University in the United States, as well as at the Technical University of Dresden and the Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics in Germany. He has been named a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher in 2025. Since establishing his research group, he has published over ten papers as the first author or corresponding author in prestigious journals such as Nature Water, Science Advances, Advanced Materials (4), and Nano Letters (2). He has applied for more than ten invention patents, with two national invention patents and one PCT patent already granted. He serves as an International Advisory Committee member for the Wiley journal Global Challenges (Impact Factor: 6.4) and as a Youth Editorial Board member for Advanced Fiber Materials (Impact Factor: 21.3). Additionally, he acts as a reviewer for more than 30 journals, including the Nature series, and serves as an evaluation expert for multiple talent programs under the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.
